My refrigerator/freezer produced excessive ice causing the causing to make a strange and loud noise. I thought the fan/motor was damaged. With the help of a friend, we removed the fan/motor and order a replacement. Well! I ordered the wrong part. My refrigerator/freezer was off for about one and half month. Whirlpool appliance repair FAQ
My Whirlpool washer shows F5 E2. What does it mean?
The lid lock can’t lock. Make sure nothing is caught under the lid and start a new cycle. If it keeps showing, the lid lock assembly has usually failed — a quick repair.
What does F9 E1 mean?
It’s a long-drain error: the washer took too long to pump out. Check the drain hose for kinks or a clog; if that’s clear, the drain pump likely needs replacing.
Why does my Whirlpool dryer run but not heat?
Most often a blown thermal fuse on an electric dryer — usually caused by a clogged vent — or a failed igniter or gas valve coil on a gas dryer. We fix the part and check the vent so it doesn’t happen again.
Do you repair Amana, JennAir and Roper too?
Yes. They’re Whirlpool brands, and we repair them all.
