Who we are

Woodland Appliance Repair, LLC is a locally owned appliance and HVAC repair company serving Northern Virginia. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean Woodland Appliance Repair, LLC, and “you” means anyone who visits this website, calls us or books a repair.

What we collect

When you book a repair or contact us:

• Your name and phone number
• The service address (street, unit, city, state and ZIP)
• The appliance or system, what it is doing, and when you would like a visit
• Anything else you choose to tell us by phone, text or email, such as photos, model numbers or serial numbers

When you visit the website:

• Basic visit data through Google Analytics: pages viewed, how you found us, device and browser type, approximate location (city level), and actions such as tapping a phone number or sending a booking request. Google Analytics uses cookies to do this.
• The address you type into the booking form is sent to Google so it can suggest matching addresses.
• Standard server logs kept by our web host (IP address, browser and the pages requested), used for security and to keep the site running.

We do not ask for payment card details on this website, and we do not collect information about children.

How we use it

• To schedule, confirm and carry out your repair, and to call or text you about the appointment
• To give you a quote, an invoice and a receipt
• To honor our 90-day parts and labor warranty and look up past work on your appliance
• To answer your questions
• To see which pages and services people use, so we can improve the website
• To keep the website secure and block spam

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with other businesses for their own marketing.

Who we share it with

Only what is needed to do the job:

• Our technicians and office staff, to schedule and complete your repair
• Service providers that run our business tools: our web host, Google (Gmail, Google Analytics and Google Maps), and our phone and scheduling tools. They handle your information for us, not for themselves.
• Parts suppliers and manufacturers, only when needed to order a part or file a warranty claim (usually just the model and serial number)
• Authorities, if the law requires it

Cookies and analytics

Google Analytics sets cookies that tell us how the site is used. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s Analytics opt-out add-on. The website still works without them.

How long we keep it

We keep booking and job records for as long as we need them to serve you, back our warranty and keep our business and tax records. When we no longer need them, we delete them.

Your choices

You can ask us to show you, correct or delete the personal information we hold about you. Call (703) 335-1009 or email woodlandappliance03@gmail.com and we will reply within 30 days. We may need to keep some records the law requires us to keep, such as invoices.

If you no longer want calls or texts from us, tell us and we will stop, apart from messages about a repair that is already booked.

How we protect it

Booking requests are sent over an encrypted connection (HTTPS). Access to customer records is limited to the people who need them to do their work. No system is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update it on this page and change the date at the top.
