EcoNet communication faults
Prestige systems use EcoNet smart controls. A wiring break, a failed control or a thermostat fault throws a code and shuts the system down — we read it and trace the real break.
Capacitor & contactor

Igniter & flame sensor

My refrigerator/freezer produced excessive ice causing the causing to make a strange and loud noise. I thought the fan/motor was damaged. Do you repair all Rheem systems?
Yes — Rheem central air conditioners, heat pumps and gas furnaces across the Prestige, Classic Plus and Classic lines, plus ductless mini-splits. We also repair Rheem water heaters.
Do you fix Rheem water heaters too?
Yes. Rheem is a major water-heater maker, and we handle both the HVAC and the water heater — see water heater repair. One call can cover both.
What does an EcoNet error code mean?
EcoNet is Rheem’s smart control system. When a component faults, it shows a code — note it (or photograph it) before you call so we bring the right part. It can point to a motor, a control board, a sensor or a wiring break.
Is Ruud the same as Rheem?
Essentially, yes. Ruud is Rheem’s sister brand, built on the same platforms, and most parts cross over. We repair both.
How long does a Rheem repair take?
Most take one to two hours once we’re there, and most finish on the first visit because the common Rheem parts are on the truck.
Should I repair or replace my Rheem?
If it’s under about 12–15 years old and the repair is a fraction of a new system, repair usually wins. A failed compressor on an older unit usually points to replacement. We give you the honest numbers either way.
