Dale City and older Woodbridge homes
Many of these 1960s and 1970s kitchens have been remodeled more than once, and newer refrigerators often end up squeezed into cabinet openings built for smaller units. With little room at the sides and top, heat builds up around the condenser and the compressor runs longer and hotter than it should. If your fridge runs nonstop and the cabinet sides feel warm, airflow is the first thing we check, before any part gets replaced.
Lake Ridge and Rippon Landing
Plenty of homes here are on their second or third refrigerator, but the ice maker water line is often original. Old saddle valves and brittle plastic supply lines cause slow leaks under the fridge and ice makers that suddenly stop. When we handle ice maker repair in these neighborhoods, we check the valve and the line too, so the same problem doesn’t come back a month later.
Potomac Shores, Belmont Bay and newer builds

My refrigerator/freezer produced excessive ice causing the causing to make a strange and loud noise. I thought the fan/motor was damaged.
